In recent years, our federal government has returned the authority to handle some of our domestic issues to the individual states. As a result, the legislative burden at the state level has increased greatly.
In Iowa, many of our state legislators hold other jobs in addition to their statehouse duties. So today, with limited staff, they often rely on others to provide information that guides their vote on an increasingly complicated legislative agenda. That's where you come in.
